When Baby G first came home, he was a bit jaundiced. His condition worsened overnight, and the day after we brought him home from the hospital we had to bring him back and admit him to the NICU. Here he is under the bili-lights. When we were able to visit him, he was a bit fussy at first. Daddy gently placed his hand on Baby G's tummy, and he calmed right down.
He was in the NICU for four days, and when his bili levels were back down to a normal range they let us take him home. It was difficult to see our baby in an isolette, and to have to leave him behind when we went home at night, but we knew he was in good hands and that he would be okay. It was a very happy day when we got to bring him home to stay.
