We are in PA with family, having travelled for most of yesterday. Baby G is such a trooper! He laughed at me all through takeoff and slept through the landing. We had a hop to Dallas and a three hour layover before hopping to Philladelphia, so we spread out a blanket to let G stretch out.

Baby G has rolled over while on the bed, kind of downhill into the indent in the mattress where I sleep. Yesterday at the Dallas airport he rolled all the way over, all by himself, on a flat surface! Of course he waited until Daddy left to use the restroom. A family in the waiting area saw my excited reaction and came running over to cheer G on as we tried to get him to do it again. It was so sweet! He tried and got close several times, but he eventually got tired and frustrated so I fed him and let him rest.

The second leg of the trip was as uneventful as the first. Grandfather met us at the airport and promptly relieved me of baby duty. We're staying here with my brother and sister in law for a couple nights before taking the train into VA to meet Baby G's Great Grandmother. We'll stay with my husband's aunt, which is always wonderful, and we'll be back here in time for the holiday and to finish out the week before heading home.

I'm so proud of my little man and how well he travelled! I hope our luck holds out for the return trip!
